Silver Sands is trying to maintain an old fashioned family atmosphere. This junk is not fancy, but hard to come by and hard to keep in repair, please treat it and us with respect. If you have something that isn’t working properly, let us know. Since you have chosen to stay here, this must be the type of place that you prefer; please do all you can to insure that we will be around another year.
A few simple rules:
Please leave your cabin inside and the grounds outside like you would like to find it when you return.
Office hours are 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
I’m sorry, but there are no public telephones here. There is a payphone at Glen's, the grocery store down the road and around St. Ignace.
We sincerely hope that you and your family has a pleasant stay here and we would love to see you come back, so please abide by these few simple rules and we will all appreciate it.

- Check out is 10:00 A.M.
- PLEASE do not overload your cabins with visitors or guests.
- No children in the lake without supervision.
- You have neighbors; quiet time is @ 10:00 P.M.
- Dumpster is located behind cabin 6 – not the fire rings.
- Do not move the furniture to suit you (inside or outside).
- Please do not leave dirty dishes.
- We love pets but you have to keep them on a leash and picked up after.
- If you feel the need to shoot off fireworks, please be advised that it is illegal and our neighbors will call the police, they will come and you will be fined.
- Resort facilities are for registered guests only.
